The On-Screen Keyboard Tool and Handwriting Recognition Tool are in the same menu group on the right of the Palette. The button with keys and numbers on it is the On-Screen Keyboard. When selected it opens the Windows On-Screen Keyboard that you can use to enter text by tapping keys with the Interactive Stylus. This is especially useful when you are standing by the projected screen. To see how this works, use your Interactive Stylus to select the Start Menu and navigate to the Accessories menu and select the application, “Notepad.” Now select the On-Screen Keyboard from the Desktop Tools Palette. Try entering text in notepad with the On-Screen Keyboard. You can change the font and font size on the keyboard under the Settings menu and by choosing Font. To close the onscreen keyboard tap the On-Screen Keyboard button in the palette again or tap the close button on the On-Screen Keyboard. When you are done close Notepad and return to the tutorial.
