| Possible causes | 1. Is the VGA cable plugged in the pc/ laptop and the projector |
| 2. Laptop output is not activated | |

| Solution | 1. Create a correct connection of the VGA cable |
| 2. Create an external output using CTRL+F5 * (screen logo on function key) | |
| 3. Adjust the input in the projector (VGA-1/ VGA-2) | |
| 4. Deactivate "Blank" function through the remote control | |
| 5. Replace light bulb | |
| Question | The projected image is upside down |
| Possible causes | Image projection is upside down |
| Solution | Adjust the position (or mounting) of the mirror in the menu |
| Question | The projected image is not straight |
| Possible causes | 1. Keystone is adjusted too "heavily" |
| 2. Projector is not upright compared to the board | |
| Solution | 1. Adjust the keystone correction |
| 2. Align the projector with the board | |
| Question | The projected image does not fill up the board (well) |
| Possible causes | 1. Is the format ratio correct? (16:10, 4:3?) |
| 2. Is the zoom function tuned in? | |
| Solution | 1. Adjust the output ratio to the format of the board. |
| 2. Turn off the zoom function | |
| Question | Colour of the projection is pale/ blurry |
| Possible causes | Wrong tuning of the projector |
| Solution | Adjust the image in contrast/ colour/ brightness through the menu on the remote control |
| Question | The projected image drops out |
| Possible causes | 1. Defective lamp |
| 2. Timer is active | |
| 3. Voltage loss/ interruption projector | |
| Solution | 1. Replace light bulb |
| 2. Turn "Auto shut-off" off, to 0 minutes | |
| 3. Check if the power supply cableis connected right | |
| Question | Stylus pen does not work/ does not respond well |
| Possible causes | 1. Battery is empty (there is no "buzzing" sound) |
| 2. Filthiness / dirt in the point | |
| 3. Board is not calibrated correctly | |
| Solution | 1. Replace the battery |
| 2. Remove Teflon point and blow the internal point clean | |
| 3. Calibrate the board/ pen | |
| Question | Stylus pen has a "stuttering" response |
| Possible causes | External interruption of the High frequency signal |
| Solution | Remove magnets on and around the board, create "absorption" in the marker tray |
| Question | There is no sound/ there is a crunching sound |
| Possible causes | 1. Sound is not activated in the pc/laptop |
| 2. Output of the sound is too low | |
| 3. Incorrect connection of the cables | |
| 4. Mute is activated on the remote control | |
| Solution | 1. Activate the sound on the media player / pc |
| 2. Raise the volume level | |
| 3. Check the speaker cables for correct connection on pc/ laptop, speakers and projector | |

4. Deactivate Mute function |

| Question | PC does not have a connection with the board |
| Possible causes | 1. USB cable is not connected |
| 2. USB cable is defect | |
| 3. Software is not installed | |
| 4. USB port is not active | |
| Solution | 1. Connect USB cable to PC and board |
| 2. Replace USB cable | |
| 3. Install software | |
| 4. Activate USB port in the PC or use another port. | |
| Question | There are less software possibilities on the Mac |
| Possible causes | Compatible problem Mac/ e-Beam interactive |
| Solution | This has do with the software. When an updated e-Beam software is available, you can find these under downloads on this website |
| Question | The board does not always start up well |
| Possible causes | Wrong connection PC |
| Solution | When the PC is connected wrongly it can be solved by unplugging the USB cable and then inserting it again. |
| Question | Everytime I start-up my eBeam software, the myscript registration number has to be filled in again. What can I do to stop this? |
| Solution | 1. Make sure the user is a System Administrator to give them full control. |
| 2. Log them in and launch Interact and MyScript. Enter the serial number. | |
| 3. Close Interact and MyScript from the System Tray. | |
| 4. Launch the program again and it will hold the information. | |
